hi have just started using TAT to monitor core temps on my e6600 one core always reads 1 or 2 degres higher than the other is this normal? could it be caused by uneven application of thermal interface material?

Mine does the same in Core temp but only by a small amount.

I guess because these are two independent cores they aren't always doing the same amount of work. If you load up one core its natural that will become hotter, I think.

doesnt this just show that one core is being used more than the other, i know they are bothe at 100& load but u know
