Intel X58 + 3ware 9650SE

Hey guys; I just wanted to know if anyone has tried pairing up an X58 motherboard with a 9650SE raid card. The big bucks required to buy the 3ware raid card calls for some research before actually buying it. Are there any known compatibility issues with the 9650SE and certain brands of X58 motherboards?

Don't see any reason why it shouldn't work properly, have a look Here and Here for the official 3Ware comptability lists, however if you want to be 100% sure it works, simply email 3Ware and ask them...

It doesn't work on the Asus P6T Deluxe.

After having a look around there does appear to be a compatability problem with the Asus P6T Deluxe, however it does appear to work with the Asus Rampage II Extreme (see sig, also see link to Asus forum) after Asus released a BIOS update....
