intellimouse 3.0 Mouse Wheel problem :-(

ok guys i have had my 3.0 for only around 2months now and the mousewheel seems to have become very loose, to the point where it registers scrolls without me touching it on occasions.

is there a way i can tighten this or is this a common problem? the reason i ask is as i play a lot of games and the mousewheel is quite a active part of my games it really puts you off when your in the middle of something and it scrolls

Its a common problem thats happened with all 4 of my 3.0, it actually gets better with time. or you could go the Deathadder route, which is an awesome mouse.

Not happened to any of mine, either the old version of the new one.

well it's strange i've used a old one and it was fine, but my new one and steelseries one both had it.

i've seen guides that allow for loosening the wheel as some people found it too stiff innitially, but haven't found a guide to tighten it.

Has happened to 4 of my Intelli 1.1 mouses, never found a way to fix it.
