Legit question - why would a pro with a need for 10 cores even consider a mainstream enthusiast CPU and not one of the many xeons?

Is it next week, we will get the prices and new MB info?
VideoCardz seem to have "accidentally" broken it.NDA ends at 30th?
10 cores would be good for my VM environment, I've got 128GB ram which handles a lot of VM's and currently pushes my 5820 to 80% when they're all running.
£1700 is a bit steep though, are new boards coming out too?
Ooo. Got myself a nice little bonus in tomorrows pay so this might be perfect timing to replace my ageing i7 920. Gibbo, send me one now before I spend it all!
