hi guys ive currently got a small raid 0 system and i was wondering whats the fastest the controller can go i.e not drive limited as i want to go faster and was thinking of a 3-4 drive system but i don't want drives wasted if there is going to be a wall at 250mb/s.

I thought only the Nvidia NF680 had a wall for some mad reason, I aint read so with Intels.

so ICH9R should be fibe with 4 drives and no slowdown ?

Have a look in the benchmark thread, I'm sure someone's posted a 4 disk Intel array in there.
