How can a stock HSF be too late for a CPU that isn't even out yet?

right because there late.

lets stop all technology all together, ati please stop making graphics cards. amd stop making chips now intel have over taken you.

It looks all boy-racer cool. I wonder how it'll stack up to previous versions of itself and popular 3rd party coolers. Think it's outperform the Zalman it's obviously imitating?

No - it's aluminium and has no heatpipes.

The Zalman 7700 which this is similar to never had heatpipes, and one variant wasn't entirely copper. I would say with 99% certainty that this cooler will have a copper base to it like most of the intel stock coolers do at the moment.

I wonder how well they would do sat on a Core2Duo :)

And yes they do have a copper base:

Think it looks good myself, seems a bit tricking to access the push/pull black pins but I guess that could just be the angle of the photo?

Looks like you will need to use a long flat head screwdriver to get it tight, you should be able to use your fingers as well; using a flathead is much quicker and easier though.
