Intel's Raja first discrete GPU will be based on Intel Gen12 GPU architecture

Ir yhey can make card goid for mining and giming and. Earn *********.

You forget how hard it is to get NV fabatics to try different card. Its like trying to get appke chap to buy android phone.

So crap in mining card wpukd be shot in foot. Cause if gamers would not jump then at least miners will buy them.

And if gamers and mi ers wont buy cause nv or amd got better then what??

Besides that many here wont remwmber that Ibtel had few GPUs around AvP1 time. My mate had it and drivers ware Shicking. Trully worst dpu driver suppirt ie seen in my life.

Even my S3 virge and S3 savage ware kess pronlematic.

Do you have an Intel keyboard? :p

Sounds like a good movie, the underdog (amd) travels across treacherous land to seek shelter from the tyrant (nvidia). They team up with a wise old rival (intel) who has a bigger army to add to they're ranks. They both lead armies into open fields and after a gruesome battle. The underdog (amd) says a catchy joke and stabs the tyrant (nvidia) in the heart and they live happily ever after...

Send it to Disney.

Keep going... the question of how the OP's claims of Intel grabbing large market share off AMD and Nvidia are going to happen still stands.
They release a card that has price/performance that's competitive with some AMD/Nvidia cards, and people buy it. It's just the same as how 3DFX grabbed market share off ATi and how Nvidia grabbed it off 3DFX.

Intel actually have an advantage right now over AMD/Nivdia in that as they are only going after the desktop market they can design architecture to suck at mining, without hindering their nonexistent workstation cards.

So the same thing AMD gets abused for (making cards that only compete with some Nvidia cards) will be a really great plan if you swap the name for Intel?

It's going to take a monumental effort to catch-up given the IP that sits with NVidia and AMD and the state of market now compared to when 3DFX were a player.

Worth also noting that it's not the first time Intel has tried to get in on the act - anybody remember Larrabee?

Regardless, it'll be interesting to see how they approach this and how the entire thing this pans out.
