Intensive driving courses

I'm also very interested in going on one after my 17th birthday. They sound like a good idea, whether they are any good or not is another matter! :p

The problem with these intensive "pass in 1 week" courses is that you get very little experience on the roads before you pass, which isn't a good thing IMO.

Its all about the milage which you wont get I guess. Plus everyone I have talked to has gone on one hated driving and was knackered by the end of the week. :)

I did an intensive, along with two of my mates and my younger sister, all through the same guy. All passed 1st time, and none of us have had any accidents full stop (6years now). My two other good mates did it the normal way, One has written off two cars, and the other had an accident in one of his cars. So from my opinion I would have to disagree with the statements above.
