We are without Alonso and Finnan, Inter are without Materazzi and possibly Chivu.

Going into the tie 2-0 up is a nice position to be in. It means if we score 1 at the San Siro, Inter have to score 4 to win, 3-1 wouldn't be enough.

My guess at the team...

Reina, Arbeloa, Carra, Skrtel, Aurelio, Gerrard, Masch, Lucas, Babel, Kuyt, Torres

I'm going for a 2-1 Liverpool win.

I just hope that Inter do actually turn up this time and give Liverpool a game :p

Saying that though, I can see Liverpool going through after a 1-1 draw tonight.

I can't see Inter scoring.

Liverpool just destroy teams in Europe and don't let them get going at all.

Liverpool are as good as through, can't see Inter pulling anything out of this match. For the neutral it would be great to see an early Inter goal but ultimately I see Liverpool scoring a goal which leaves an incredible uphill struggle for Inter to win. And with probably the most overrated lazy ass striker in the modern game in Ibrahimović I don't see Inter scoring many, if any at all. (Even if his recent goal scoring record is anything to go by).

I'm nervous :(

I hope we get a goal. If not, with it being in Italy and with the ref no doubt going to be on their side following the ref's performance at Anfield... I can see them going for it, diving + rolling about, getting lots freekicks etc.

I can deffintely see them getting a goal from a setpiece.

Hopefully Torres does the magic.

It's certainly not done and dusted for Liverpool tonight. Inter are more than capable of banging a couple past us.

I hope we can crack in an early goal and capitalise on it rather than sitting back.

If Inter get an early goal you never know. But Liverpool should see it out comfortable, probably scoring in the process.

I think Liverpool will have a comfortable game tonight.

Everton need a rocket up their ass though, really wanted them to win the UEFA, the form they've shown latley shows they can if they wanted it too.

Think it will be tougher than people expect - but a 2-1 loss for Liverpool is my guess (obviously still gets them through)

I think all the other English teams would prefer Liverpool to win

Are you saying that because the referee in the last game gave everything to Liverpool they will now side with Inter Milan in a bid to even things up?

It won’t be easy tonight, it never is. I can see us making it through but the last 20 minutes or so will be hell. It's nights like this that defensive mids earn their money, and I hope mascherano has a good game.
Lol @ Alonso not taking part of the game due to baby.
Yeah because that's really funny

Looking at his goal scoring record, it's pretty impressive but every single time I've ever seen him play for club or country he has done absolutely nothing at all. Sure he looks good in the football skills videos like Ronaldo, etc, but as a player on the pitch he just doesn't show enough for me to consider him a class player nevermind world class.

huh why is the match not on itv what a swindle
