Interested in programming?

Just finished coding my thesis (Java ME GPS tracking software for mobile devices) and if I never touch programming again it will be too soon! :p

Edit: I'd love to do more 3D modelling though, really got into that this year so make a 3D game or something and I'll help with the assets :)

ha ha congrats on finishing mate! It'll be so cool if we can make our programming bit kick ass like our distributed comp section!

Think I'm going to be of limited use.

I'm an embedded C and C++ programmer. Kreeeee is probably more in touch with what your looking for.

Good luck - top idea.
 
Cool, if we're doing Java that'll put me in my rightful place as an 18 year old as a newbie. It's good to learn new things so I'm all for it. :)

You are exactly what we need. Experience is te key to help pass on knowledge. You sir seem to have lots. I really hope you give the time to help out.

when this thread starts ill be lurking in the corer :) hopefully ill learn a thing or two because my programming skills are really basic.

PS: does anyone know a good language to learn programming? thanks
 
I would be in for something hardwarey, but its not likely on here I guess.

Web languages and high-level object oriented stuff I really have no interest in, but if we need some embedded c/ASM/VHDL doing, count me in.
 
wouldnt mind learning me some java.

Arm assembler

labview - programming in pictures!!

Just about finished my 3rd and final year at uni. Have a fair bit of knowledge on C# + .NET . Would be quite interested in a community project of sorts, always looks good on a cv :D
 
I have little experience of programming ( did really simple stuff in uni last year in JavaScript and Java ). Thanks for the heads up at the forum, I should really check it out more. I doubt I'll be suited towards this project although I would love to do it, due to my lack of experience. :(
