This is something that i do not feel comfortable with

how careful will you have to be when you could very well be recorded by others anywhere outside your home. It really is getting into the man and machine sci fi stuff!

personally i dont think i could relax with this sort of thing beyond my control. Saying anything could potentially on record. Perhaps i am over reacting but i definitly wouldnt want such things in the home, perhaps the one place where you would have control

Isn't that.. now? You could very well be recorded by others anywhere outside your home, as pretty much everyone has a HD video recorder in their pocket!

Search YouTube for Surveillance Camera Man. It's hilarious how people react to him but completely accept CCTV everywhere...

but this is different, i dont feel cctv is that intrusive, usually there isnt sound etc

the phone thing also needs to be active, it isnt on by default

That really is hilarious, in a very weird way :D

But I'd say it's a totally different situation to CCTV.

You should see it when Police officers have a camera put in their face. They follow the guidelines to the letter then :D

that is brilliant... :D

Though rather different to most CCTV footage though which is passive, not intrusive and most likely going to be deleted/wiped/recorded over after a set period of time without another human being so much as looking at it.

I guess the local council CCTV and the cameras in retail stores are slightly different in so far as they are monitored actively - though even then, unless you're doing something to draw attention to yourself then you're just one of many thousands of other people who wandered by and were forgotten about a few seconds later as the camera operator glances across his monitors...
