Interface CRC errors

Hey all,

Been following the Samsung 840 evo issue thread with interest and my drive exhibits the same problems as the rest of them, but HD tune pro also has an ever increasing CRC error count.

Two days ago it was at 1907, and is now at 1935. Is this a sign of a dying drive? The ssd is in a Dell d630 laptop (sata2 interface)

More likely a loose connection.. Check your sata connection...

I had a drive gradually rack up a huge number of them, drive was fine, cable was fine, port on the backplane was slightly damaged and i hadn't noticed.
