Intergrating a Partition back?

Hey,

Is there a software out there that allows you to put back the parition you made from the hdd, back into the hdd?

OK, i made a partition from my hard drive to back up data. Now, i want to intergrate that partition back into the main C drive. It is useless to me now since i've purchased a new one.

You'd need to delete the extra partition, then increase the size of the C: partition to make use of the free space. Make sure you backup any important data on either partition beforehand in case something goes wrong - which isn't uncommon.

do as Daegan says

a good tool for doing this is Parted Magic boot cd

download from there, extract the ISO file from the zip file and burn that as an image file to a cd/dvd using imgburn

backup your stuff, reboot the pc and load up gparted from that live cd and the rest is simple..
