Does it really matter which programme moves to BBC2? I would imagine Strictly is more mainstream so has stayed on 1 and the F1 is possibly not going to re-start so moving it to 2 is probably the best idea.
Liking the BBC coverage as always, they are filling the gaps in well with these ad-hoc interviews.
