Intermediate distance glasses are the best graphics upgrade I've had for ages!

Thanks, I need near and intermediate. Distance is 'perfect' so varifocals for me as I present from a laptop and audience a lot and constantly taking glasses on and off is an arse.

Vision express seem ok at the mo with a bit of discount...

As my previous glasses have fallen to bits after a year or so, I've opted for oakley frames as my oakley sunnies have lasted over 10 years!

Anyone tried multifocal contacts? I don't mind glasses but having to swap between pairs is driving me nuts.

I've had the same distance glasses for years because I'm lazy and they seem to still be pretty much fine, though I have started to notice that it's harder to read my phone with the glasses on than without them, so I fear I might have to do something about it soon, I'm sick of having to lift my glasses to easily read my phone!

Rimless glasses you can look out beneath them easily to see phone - touchwood these have not proven more fragile than their rimmed predecessors, although I put on old glasses for diy/car work.
Shaving is the annoying thing - wearing glasses would be a pain, close up in a well lit mirror is more convenient.

Got to order the wife yet another pair of intermediate glasses. I swear that even if they had inch thick steel frames she would still break the damn things. The woman is a menace!!
