been having cold boot issues with my PC for a couple of weeks, I would power it up and get no display/post screen but the fans would be running. So I would power it off/on again and it would go straight into windows with any problems.

Today I powered it up and again no display but the fans etc are running, so I powered it off/on but this time it still didn't work! tried reseating the gfx card and ram no difference! removed both sticks of ram and still nothing, disconnect the sata hdd and it posted, so I reconnected it and it booting up fine! thinking it could be a PSU problem?

spec
E2160 @2.7ghz (be running this for 2 months stable)
abit ip35

ok may give bios 13 a try, but I doubt thats the problem... still think its the psu!

over on the abit forums they mention some problem using a ip35 and corsair 520w psu! anyone one here had a problem with that board and psu?

cheers

Ok so yesterday I took the corsair 520w out and replaced it with a enermax 470w and so far I haven't had any problems when cold booting.. however it's only been 1 day so more testing is needed.

Problem is back!!! tested it this morning and again all the fans spin up and no post! however after about 3 or 4 mins it powered down and back up again like it was gonna post, but it didn't! so I am back to square one....
