I have a problem with my Asus MG279Q monitor, sometimes when I turn it on. Half the screen is corrupt and even when I have removed the dispay port cable, it still does the same with out any type of input cable plugged in. Also the monitor is coming to the end of it's 3 years warranty and only has a few months left.

Has anyone else come across this?

Sounds like it's dying.

Mine doesn't have any problems like that.

If it's still under warranty get it repaired/replaced.

Here's a few pictures

This was without the display port cable connected, just power cable connected.

If you mess around with the display port cable it does go away and seems to stay away and till you turn off the monitor and then only sometimes comes on again.

Tends to come on when the monitor is cold, like it's first use of the day.
