Intermittent Screen Problem?

Just put together my new-ish build and noticed tonight that every now and again, the screen goes black for a second or two and comes back on! The PC stays on, i don't lose the OS etc.

Now, all drivers up-to-date through Win7 Update facility. PC 'Not' overclocked.

Spec of PC:

AMD 550 CPU
ASUS M3N78 Motherboard
4gig Kingston 8500 ram
500g Samsung Hard Drive
430w PSU, New, Nexus brand
Thermalright True Heatsink

Temp for CPU via CoreTemp 25c

Any ideas i can try? It hasn't happened a lot of times. Didn't happen at all when i was installing OS etc today.

Was working on Excel when it happened a few times! Thanks for any advice

could be a faulty screen, what screen is it?

Well, checked the cables going into PC and that was a little loose. Hope it was that! See what happens.

Are you sure the DVI/HDMI cable is secure, Some DVI cables are not a very snug fit and will do this if not screwed in properly...

It wasn't snug and screwed in so i am hoping that was the reason for the problem
