I'm looking around to see if anyone knows of any good fully internal fan controllers (i.e not ones that you use externally from the front panel, or one sitting on a desk.) I have a 900D so i don't want to be taking off the front as it doesn't look that good :P

I'd want to control it through switches/dials inside the back of the case, or through software as that would keep it out of the way.
I have no budget as such, but the cheaper (but not so cheap that it is tacky) the better.

Get a recon and mount it back to front on the inside, fully controlled via software and a usb header on the board

That sounds good. As long as it doesn't get in the way :P

I use an aquaero 5 LT. Fully autonomous once set up.

I really like the look of this one, but the price is a bit too much for what i'd like. It is a possiblity though, as i will be using lots of aquacomputer stuff such as a pump and I can control that through the software too right?

Not sure what you mean by doesnt get in the way but the unit itself is tiny. If you can imagine the distance from the faceplates on a case to the first screw holes on a drive cage thats it.

I only use it for fan control, but I wouldn't be without it now.... My understanding is that it will control your pump etc....

Set it up. Tuck it behind your motherboard and let your PWM signal on your motherboard control your fans.

Or get PWM fans. :)

^^^^ As above. This is the best thing I've done for my PC ever. Thanks Tealc

If I want to crank up the fans I just use the motherboard software to change the pwm targets. Easy peasy
