Today, my new PC from OCUK arrived!

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-101-OE&tool=3

However... to my dismay upon carefully taking the tower out of the packaging, there was a rattle - See pics.

One of the internal fans was not attached at all, and was left dangling inside the case :/ Not what I expected with a £1400 order...

Also there are x2 of these strange clips, which I'm sure must be to hold said fan in place. However, I can't for the life of me figure out where they go/how to attach them?

Can someone please advise?

Cheers,

Tom.

looks like the fan has come off the cooler no biggie, google Prolimatech Megahalems Rev B to find out how to clip it back on.

Definitely CPU cooler, just attach it to that. I wouldn't moan at OcUK, this is so common, basically it falls off in transit, just attach the fan back to the heatsink with those clips.

Hi there, Welcome to the forums :)

That really isn't ideal - maybe they got shook loose during transit.

Anyway, to hook the fan on you want to put the long part of the fan clip (1) into the groove on the heatsink (2) - do this on both top and bottom parts.

Once one clip is attached connect on the fan using the triangular parts of the fan clip, which will secure the fan when put in the holes at the edge. Repeat for the other clip.

Hopefully I explained that all right, if you need further clarification I'm happy to help.
