Internal hard drive failing

I am sure my internal hard drive is on it's way out. Some files I cannot copy from there and seems to be running slower overall. I would like to make an image of the drive if possible and transfer the image to the new drive so I don't lose my Windows and other apps I have installed. What is the best way to do this? Thanks

Macrium Reflect. It can only copy what is not corrupted. If you image a corrupt Windows install to a new drive, you'll still have a corrupt Windows install and will have reinstall Windows.

Definitely backup important files first, then investigate.

Yes, no errors found using windows (right click on my computer), however errors found when using chkdsk from cmd prompt after reboot. Will have to investigate further.

Best get your data off it quickly in case the worse happens.

It could be worth cloning to a new drive and seeing how it performs,maybe running start up repair if it throws a wobbly.

chkdsk /f will fix errors

Back it up and then run the manufacturer's diagnostic (assuming they provide one).
