I bought a 4tb Seagate barracuda internal HDD from another site, plugged it in but was completely dead, returned it, they confirmed it was faulty, sent a replacement, plugged the replacement in and it's also dead. No movement or sounds coming from it. I've tried different sata cables and power cable and I've even tried an external sata cable and plugged it into my laptop instead but nothing. Are Seagate drives known for this or have I just been really unlucky?
Also, what drive would people recommend? I have a Samsung 970 1tb M.2 for windows and other essential software so really need a 4tb+ drive for other storage. Cheers
