Internal harddrives

yes

edit:

to be more helpful than that

1) open case and put new HD in
2) plug in new HD to SATA port on motherboard
3) plug in power cable to new HD
4) switch on pc

windows should see it automatically, but if not its just a simple few clicks in windows to get it working

Yes. Just plug in a spare sata power cable, a spare data cable and you're good to go. Physically fastening the disk depends on your case.

Just to add to Paull11's instructions;

5) If you have problems booting after adding the new disk - make sure your new disk is not the first in the boot priority, you can change this in the BIOS.
