Internal Scratch Removal?

Got some very fine scratches on my dashboard wood (read crappy plastic wood) trim and I wondered if anyone has any tips for removing them, they are annoying me. Tried some Meguiars scratch X and that didn't touch it, probably made worse actually.

Any pointers?

ScratchX is quite abrasive. I would probably try something like PlastX which is designed for getting fine scratches out of plastic.

i have used a paste\cream called MAAS to get out scratches on plastic to good affect
used it on my phones screen and my watches glass both came out great

Terrible idea, magic sponges are quite abrasive and will end up hazing the trim.

Wouldn't dream of it. Which is exactly why i wouldn't use it here, the wood trim is likely to be gloss finish.

Are you talking about swirl marks that appear when light shines on the trim or proper scratches?

If's it's just a piece of trim then it might be cheaper to replace the trim than keep trying different products.

Replace it with something that isn't wood.

Painting the interior trim is not something you do on a 35k 5 Series. It will look terrible.

It's the bit that runs up the side of the cup holder draw near my leg that looks the worst but as you can see on this photo is doesnt show in most lights.

I shant be wrapping it chaps, but now you've seen it you perhaps appreciate why.
