Can somebody please explain to me, because I've never understood why, why it is that when a keeper saves a penalty it's always deemed a "missed penalty"?

It makes no sense. The striker doesn't miss if its saved, the keeper has saved it because the shot was on target. A miss would be putting it wide or over the bar.

I don't get this, you clatter someone after they hit it out anywhere else on the pitch, foul+yellow card if its exceptionally late.

Player takes a shot especially in the box, it goes out, proceed to be clattered by someone from other team, you get nothing.
