Why Barkley is playing international football I'll never know. He isn't good enough... Has shown nothing to suggest he'll be good enough either.

To the point where I reckon why not stick a total nutter in charge like Di Canio just to mix it up a little (and for the lols).

Because the FA want a yes man.

As poor as he can be, Harry would have been a much, much better fit and England would have moved on an awful lot more than they have under Hodgson.

Good second half performance that. Thought Rooney worked hard, and the introduction of Carrick saw us dominate the ball from half time. Excellent goal as well.

Cack in the first half, but it was a bit of an experimental side and style to begin with.

Why are we experimenting though? Hodge has been there long enough to a have a side nailed down. Putting Jones in midfield was just silly... There's experimenting and there's being stupid... That was stupid

I agree with this.

The need for experimenting so much in friendlies is just plain stupid. The players only get so much time together to gel, so why checnge their positions each friendly match!?
