We should get 6 points from these 2 games and that'll pretty much see us qualify:)

Oh goody these should be two fun games.

My team:

Green
Neville - Terry - Upson - Cole
Beckham - Gerrard - Lamaprd - Young
Rooney - Heskey

Neville, despite being fairly poor these days, is still better than Johnson, and if we play Barry against these kind of teams I'll be miffed.

thank god downing is injured, best news for england :D

think it'll be Theo instead of beckham tho, but same lineup as you. i hate gary Neville, hes an absolute waste of space. Hes a little old man with nothing left but a big mouth.

facepalm football from england, i feel embaressed to be supporting such rubbish.

whats with all the longballs against a team comapred to that of a blue square league team :S

Exactly.
Go to these type of places>get 3 points>come home, that's all that matters:)

I would prefer if England kept a regular side, it seems every match there's a new side due to rotation and injury. We need to start perfecting a regular team in time for 2010

truly terrible performance, a massive deflection on Gerrards "shot" (not sure what it was, wasn't going near a England player initially) still needed a completely useless keeper to fail to catch it easily.

Theo, Johnson(15mil, you're having a laugh), Heskey, Barry, Gerrard have all been embarassingly poor, barely seen Gerrard on the left which he frequently leaves for Cole to cover the entire left side alone.

ALso yes it does matter, if you can't play good football here, or anywhere, you won't win the world cup. Capello game after game picks a crap team thats simply incapable of winning a world cup, he isn't game by game getting closer to building a great team, which is a huge problem. AT some point the team has to improve if its ever going to win anything, one off game where they suck and lose isn't even a problem, non improving crap football game after game IS a monumental problem in terms of lifting the cup.

So whats the score?! BBC Sport is being weird and not updating...says 2-0 on the score board but no mention of it at all on the text... :o

Didn't sound like it from 5 live. They could've scored after 20 seconds and had one ruled out for offside when it was 0-0. We haven't played great but we're too strong for them. It'll end 0-3, just as I predicted.. I hope :p

I had £10 on England -2 at 11/4, just have £5 on England -4 at 9/1 as well, I think they'll get tired easily.
