I have used Archive.org to obtain old downloadable programs that I couldnt have done any other way as the relevant sites had been taken down. Its a pretty cool idea :cool:

For instance I used it to download some "TinyApps" like little games of Asteroids etc that fit into an extremelly small window. There was no other way to obtain the file as the developer had gone out of business.

I did it with pkzip about 4 years ago and I'm damn pleased I did because I had to restore something a while back.

I got the file back I needed, btw
