Hi.
My bank has recently sent me the Visa card that came with my account. The other day i set it up for Internet Banking, so now it appears under my accounts list under Internet Banking.
Im wondering: Online, the Visa account lists as X amount of money in the account, which is my limit. Lets say i spend £50 on the card, the amount shown online, i asume, would be X -£50. So, to 'pay it off' would i then just do an account transfer to the Visa card account to bump it back upto the original 'X' value?

Thanks in advance all. :)

I guess it depends on the system used for your banks online banking. I'm with RBS, so when I want to pay money into my VISA, I go into the option I'd use to transfer money to other peoples accounts. I've then got the VISA number stored there and can pay directly through my bank account. It does take longer than paying it off as a card transaction though.

Ive done a test order for a CD, and ive just checked my online account, and the amount labled on the Visa account is reading as less than 'X'.
Im gonna ring to check on monday, but ive got the feeling that i can just do internet bank transfers between accounts to pay off the Visa.
