Hi folks... My dilemma is that my gaming pc is upstairs and my router is downstairs, I am connected with powerline adapters and have been for years but lately my connection is dropping constantly and I am struggling to pair my adapters so there must be too much noise within my electricity circuit and I have had enough!! What other options is there for connecting to my internet keeping in mind that I game so need as fast as a speed that I can obtain?

I would have to exit the cable out the front of the house and take it around the back of the house and up-to the bedroom.. maybe 25 metre's, would this affect performance?

If you don't have the tools, just play an electrician to do it. External grade cat5e cable with a back box, faceplate and module on each end.

Parts..
Cable £7 ish
Modules £5 for two
Faceplates back boxes, £2-5
Cable tacks £2

Don't use a pre made cable as you'll have to chop the end off
