I have moved back to my mothers house on a temp basis ( 2 months Max ) and im basicaly wondering if anyone has tried or has the following setup working.

(Mothers PC)PC One - Wireless Card Enabled ( Haven't Purchased Yet ) + ADSL Connection via USB Modem ( OS Win XP Home )

(My PC)PC Two - Wireless Card Enabled ( Linksys 54G ) ( OS Win XP Pro )

As im only going to be in this situation for a few months max i dont really want to go invest in a wireless router / modem combo as it really is an expense i can live without.

What i want to do is, share the ADSL connection from PC one over a Peer 2 Peer wireless connection to PC Two. Obviously i understand that idealy this isn't a great setup long term.

So to cut a long story short, Is it simple to do ( Using the XP ICS Wizard ) and when i come to purchase a Wireless Card for my mothers PC, do i really need to get a Linksys one ( which are usaly £30 ) or can i get a cheap noname Card such as the OCUK Value one, as i dont want to spend money on a temp solution.

Cheers in advance for any replies :)
