internet connection

Hey everyone
I am having a laptop for xmas and so is my sister, i just want to know if my internet will run smooth with 3 people using it.
If this helps:
i have a netgear wireless router 54Mbps
my internet company is sky and i have the max deal

Depends entirely on how you use it :-)

Bit of browsing, instant messaging, gaming, it should be fine. Do any heavy downloading or p2p stuff and other users might see the performance suffer.

If you have a half decent router with QoS settings then you should be able to configure the minimum bandwidth available to each user. This will ensure no one can "hog the internet"
