Internet Crawling

Hi,

I've just built my new rig and installed Windows 7 Professional on it. When it had just been installed, he internet was incredibly fast. But now it's absolutely appalling. I've just tried to do a speed test but it was so slow it didn't even finish. Tried a different machine (which is directly wired to the router) and it's at about 15mb/s!

I think it may be a problem with my wifi card, but is there any way to test this? I've not moved the computer since it was going super fast earlier...so I'm not really sure what the problem could be?

Have you checked the drivers for your wireless card are totally up to date?

Sooo it seems that temporarily fixed the problem. Now it's gone back again. The software is still up to date tho

Very strange mate. You sure it isn't a problem with your connection? Unless it is a problem with the WiFi on your router? Not sure what else it could be, drivers was my only thought.

Hmm perhaps. I'll have a look in the router settings. Terrible homehub
