Internet disconnecting

Hi there,

Currently using my girlfriend's laptop and for some reason the internet works fine, up until the point she puts it on Sleep Mode. When she resumes Windows the internet completely disconnects and the whole laptop has to be rebooted. I cannot work it out as it is connected via ethernet and I see no reason why this keeps happening...

Its a Samsung RV511 and runs absolutely brilliantly apart from the whole internet issue. Any help greatly appreciated!
