I am gettin kinda bored with Internet explorer now. can anyone recomend a good "internet explorer" program ie Firefox etc. There are a few and i dont know which one to get. Are all the non microsoft explorers all secure for stuff like Online purchases etc?

bit the bullet a long time ago and moved off IE to Firefox. the constant spyware issue was just driving me nuts.

i love tabbed browsing

"View new posts" -> hold ctrl and click all the threads i want to read :D

I like the new IE7 Beta 3.

Looks nice, and i think the text is different. Definetly a better font.

Also only recently discovered how cool the fullscreen mode is (F11), really starting to like it.

Havent had any issues so far.

Firefox is terrible. It has a cheap clunky feel to it. Give it another five years and it may have caught up.

If you don't like pop-ups then don't visit those sites ;) Besides. Popups can be stopped in other browsers now anyway.

I prefer Safari on mac and IE7B3 on XP.

Internet Explorer 7 is the way to go. Never really been a fan of Firefox myself, it alaways gets uninstalled within hours. :)

The inverse for me.

Try Firefox, Opera, the IE7 beta for a while, and see which you prefer, since that's what it mostly comes down to. Personal preference.

I moved onto Firefox due to IE being homogay. Then every morning my computer would have died due to FF's memory leaking problem. I still don't know if these problems have gone away yet. I moved onto Opera as a final alternative and found it much better and stable. I have yet to have a crash while using it. 18 Tabs open at once for about a week now, and it's using about 216mb of memory.

To get all the functionality that Opera has with Firefox you have to install loads of memory hungry extensions. Opera is faster, more secure and lighter on resources.

Lots of little things that you'll notice are extremely handy in web browsing, you'll see for yourself if you try it.
To this day im still finding out things that i never knew it could do.
