Easiest way would be to run an FTP server.
The problem would be that you would probably have your upload bandwidth saturated for a few weeks which could make your connection feel quite slow.
Given that he's gonna need 300gig to store all this data in any case, he may be better off not downloading it at all but rather send you the money to buy a 400gig HD, copy the file over, and mail it to him.
