Internet Help, New Build.

DNS is used to translate between internet addresses (e.g. www.overclockers.co.uk) and what websites are actually called in computer terms (e.g. 255.255.1.2). Perform a DNS Lookup will simply translate between the two.

In other words, that's not the option you want.

Do that- i.e., the steps i mentioned earlier (set it on your own machine).

Kinda sucks that sky's firmware hardcodes DNS servers, it's a stupid idea that costs them money.

Well there saying that you cant do it on SKY router or something?
I have been on my protocol 4 something something and set the numbers in there, do I still have to set my router?

Sorted then, no need to set your router. Simply type run into startup, then run "ipconfig /flushdns", and you're sorted.

Do it on every computer to speed them all up.

going at 200-250kb/sec a now, I think its a bit like bit torrent, like a seeder or something.
more people downloading it more you can download faster.
Everything seems to be faster now anyways. Thanks.
Kris.
