Internet is not working though router

My internet works fine when wired direct to modem - but now when my router is connected, internet doesn't work - my pc shows the network sign with a yellow triangle (and says - no internet)

Was all fine earlier today before I installed a new network pci card (which works fine direct and was working with the router).

Problem is with the router I think - does not renew DHCP.

Urgent help please.

Reset router? Can you log into it's config page?

Yes i'll try that now - just didn't want to lose all my router settings.

If you have a modem > router setup there isn't anything worth worrying about, except wifi password which is a matter of seconds to reapply

ok could not get the router to work - connected my old router and its all working.

Will have to look into what the problem is with my preferred router. Will have to do it 2moro.

Pin-hole reset seems to be the best option; I agree with the poster above helping. If it works fine with another router then it's the router you're having problems with. What model router is it/manufacture? This is vital information needed if the problem consists.

Still need some help please guys.

I reset the router. Set it all up and it didn't work with my desktop pc. It kept saying unidentified network and no Internet access. Now if I connect to my laptop via ethernet it all works fine. What the hell can it be that's wrong?

all working now - everyone can now carry on with their lives

Delete all previous networks + HARD 30/30/30 reset + PC reboot = job done.
