internet stops working when i'm on the phone

I've had my new connection for a week or so now and i've just noticed that the internet either slows down dramatically or stops working all together whenever the phone is in use. It's ukonline adsl over a standard BT line....what are my options here? Is this the kind of thing i can get new wiring etc from BT for?

Do you have a micro-filter on every socket which has a working appliance on it? Including things like SKY TV etc.

If you do its most likely to be a problem with one of them especially when it affects the internet when the voice side of the system is being used.

wow, turns out it was a faulty micro filter after all! Thanks
