Internet tester?

Without demonstrating that it isn't your wireless, don't be surprised if no ISP cares about your problem.

Lower = higher connection speed? they higher it is to create a more stable line but lowers the speed..?

The connection's at full rate in both directions...

Could be some electrical interference? But i'd say it's down to your IP, sky aren't known for being excellent....are they?

Nope, but I've been happy enough with their service for the past 7 months.

I had to ring up about a month ago and they couldn't even see my MAC to do a line test because I flashed my router

I suspect the same tomorrow unless I restore the original firmware.

Which'll fix nothing if it is your wireless?

It wouldn't be so abnormal for it to break - all you need is someone nearby using wireless, cordless phones, a microwave, it might even just be broken...

Edit: try pinging your router while the connection (wireless and internet) is otherwise idle, it shouldn't fluctuate much. If it does, it's possible it's your router or the wireless connection.

A Laptop
PC
Two 360's

All experiencing the same issue, NOTHING has changed in the household so why would it suddenly change so dramatically in performance?

Pinging the router and no drop outs, a average of 2ms response time.

All using the wireless?
It doesn't have to be within your house, you don't have to be that near to screw up a wireless network, it might even just be broken.

End of the day, it might be Sky, it might be the wireless connection or it might be something completely different, but if you won't take any steps to eliminate something that could be to blame there isn't much more we can do...

All using wireless yes.

I'll hook up the laptop and see if download speeds increase, I can't really connect a 360 to the router and see if the lag stops unfortunately.
