Internet when not at home

When I am at home I will use a wireless from the modem, But how can I get internet like when in a car, on a train etc?

Got Google? Most mobile phone providers also sell USB dongle/data packages. Some are even giving away free laptops with contracts. It's about the same price as a normal mobile again IIRC.

Contract with your supplier.

Typically is the mobile suppliers, ie O2, Orange, Vodafone etc.

Mobile broadband costs around £15 to £20 for the cheapest package and you have to sign up for 12 months in most cases.

Yeah, you're after something like this (clicky).

The amount you pay per month depends on how much download capacity you want.

If you go over your allowance you get charged something stupid like 10p per MB extra.

I've got 'unlimted' data on my mobile (HSDPA) through T-Mobile and it works great as a bluetooth access point.
