Ok so I'm having issues getting any internet pages to load up on my laptop! All other devices work fine so I assume there's something getting in the way? I've run every kind of trouble shooting programme, deleted caches etc and still nothing. I can't think of anything else I can try.

Any body else have any ideas?

Is it a recent install of Windows 10 or has the problem just started to happen?
Is there anything that might be blocking the internet connection in your Firewall, a network connection request, that you might have accidentally blocked?
You say that your browser can't connect to the internet, can you check for emails, update other software etc?

I've found all Windows Trouble Shooting software to be a total waste of time.

It's not a new install, it literally started today. Fired up my laptop and opened Microsoft Edge so I could pay some bills. Homepage opened fine but when I tried to navigate to my online banking it froze and when I tried other internet based apps (kodi etc) nothing would connect. Just seems strange.

Hmm had something a bit like that after an update on one of my Windows 10 tablets yesterday (relatively new and I'm still in the process of getting it setup) - but it was only effecting Edge or anything that uses Edge - stuck Firefox on and that is working fine but Edge only loads pages when I have full wifi signal anything else and it either just refuses to load or loads for awhile and then goes to a completely white page. Was working fine before while I was downloading utilities, etc.

Windows 10 is just **** with too much dev time spent on fancy features no one wants or asked for and not enough time making sure the nitty gritty works.
