Interpret my weird dream

I woke up this morning with the remnants of a dream kicking around in my head.

I'd been to an execution somewhere on top of a hill. I suppose it could have been Tower Hill but I'm not 100% sure of that.

People were dressed in historic clothes and it felt authentically old but there were TV cameras present.

The first person was beheaded successfully but the second one took three attempts. It was Emma Bunton and it wasn't an axe or a sword but a guillotine and it had to be raised and dropped three times before her noddle dropped off.

What's this all about?

We all have odd dreams from time to time but I don't remember many of them. What strange ones have you had recently?

Emma Bunton told a story on Graham Norton that when they were on tour and staying in hotels they would dare each other to run naked up and down the hotel corridors - nom nom nom.

It's definitely prophetic.

We're in the midst of killing off the spirit and mentality of the 90s (Emma Bunton), and have a more grim future with regression (old clothes) on several fronts. Things that used to sustain us no longer do, and some of the cultural and political structures we have built are collapsing.

In 2023 (3 strikes of the Guillotine), France (the guillotine) will deliver a major blow to the country. Watch out, Macron turns out to be a foe.

We will all be watching with morbid interest but helplessly (the crowds and TV cameras).

Basically, watch the French very very carefully next year.

I had a Homer Simpson Doh! moment as I had to look up who Emma Bunton was and realised she was in the Spice Girls! I think the only significance of that is if @Feek likes / dislikes the Spice Girls, or Emma Bunton as a soloist (as she did go solo like some of the other Spice Girls did), or one of their tracks recently cropped up on the car radio, TV or in a bar.

The historic event / costumes but with the presence of TV crew implies that they were recording for an upcoming drama series. Some dreams can get mixed up though, for example the upstairs of the house is from my own house but the downstairs is the downstairs of my parents' house. Or the building could be a mix-up of my school and the university I went to.

The Spice Girls are from the past and no longer relevant today (hence the historic setting and clothes).
But they still try to plod along and won't disappear completely (hence the guillotine repeatedly trying to end them).
Beheading because of "headlining".
Cameras because they are famous.
A hill because it symbolises either a challenge or a worry (you're worried someone will buy you tickets to their concert).

Not sure about the last line, but the rest is on point, I'd say. It could be Tower Hill just because it's known loads of people were beheaded at the Tower of London.

You bemoan the hyper commercialisation of girl and boy bands and prophesy the death of those pre packaged pop groups.

The dream has a more specific meaning: this is the end of the spice girls who will not perform again after Glasto.

THe Spice Girls were arguably the world's first ever boy band and I think @Feek your dream is a reflection of post-industrial malaise mired in a factors of production fog and it's a tricky pancake whichever way you cut it.
