I personally question the opinions which says that if you wear a suit it shows good traits about you.

If you can't afford M+S then get to matalan , you will pick one up for about 50-60 quid, won't be the best in the world but will still look fine for an interview, will not last as long as a good one though

I went in jeans/tshirt, it's University you're not going to lectures/seminars in a suit are you?Arsey said:OT but I have a university, informal interview/open day thing for the course I put down, would you wear a suit for that or just maybe jeans/sweater?
For a university interview, I would go wearing whatever you're going to be spending most of your time at university wearing. I've been to interviews at quite a few universities and never worn a suit, and never been turned down for a place. This goes double because it's only an informal interview.Arsey said:OT but I have a university, informal interview/open day thing for the course I put down, would you wear a suit for that or just maybe jeans/sweater?
