Hey

Just wanted to say, thanks to huddys interview guide (its in the archives) and a bit of luck i finished my second interview today with a law firm in London doing I.T support.

Im sooo positive about it, the IT manager introduced me to all his team (only 9 people) and took me for a drink at the pub for a chat. Just have to wait till friday now to as theres another person having an interview but cross fingers they dont show :p Before you ask i didnt fall in the trap and drink alcohol, just decent personal convo about the role and his history over a diet coke ;]

Basically posting this to say, just keep at it. I have zero work experience in IT and only one previous employer paying £4.50 an hour and im close to being employed and paid 20k from a decent firm in mayfair so luck is always about :)

Hopefully ill have some good news to post friday :D

Good news mate. Good luck also.

Well done, surely you're well in there if you went down the boozer :p

Let us know what happens !

Cheers,

Yeah it seemed really good. Apparently the Manager wont be there friday so he wont meet the second person going for the role which puts me at a bit of an advantage?

Especially as i got on really well with the two which will be interviewing them.

Just dont let opportunitys go people! :)

Sounds positive - hope you get the offer and it's a decent one too.

I've only had one interview that involved 'going for drinks' after, and sadly the interviewing guy sort of broke down in the pub and confessed that their 'start up' firm was a bit screwed financially and they weren't sure they were going to make it another year :O needless to say I was a bit shocked after 2 hours of interview, but I respected him for saying that and we left on amicable terms.

LOL, "So where do YOU see your self in 5 years mr interviewer?!" :p

Sounds like it went better than the interview i had today. I hate the NHS think i'll just give up on them, bunch of time wasters:mad:

Got the job, just have to work my notice in my crappy retail job then off to London. :D

Sorry but my first ever real interview and i nailed it..
