Interview Excitement

the IT manager introduced me to all his team (only 9 people) and took me for a drink at the pub...

Before you ask i didnt fall in the trap and drink alcohol, just decent personal convo about the role and his history over a diet coke ;]

erm - trap???

If they take you into a 'pub' for a drink I think it is pretty reasonable to assume that you can order a beer if you want.

Congratulations mate... you lucky bugger :p :p :p

How is it that i never even get offered interviews having 10 years experience in IT including 2 years in IT support? Is it because i'm 21? Someone please tell me what is going wrong!

Crazy thread hijack here:

I've got my first proper interview coming up in 3 days... starting to get very nervous now. I've read the tips on various job sites and gone through some random interview question generator. I'll be bringing my course/education certificates and my passport as requested in the confirmation email, and a copy (or maybe a couple?) of my CV. Any great tips on what to do/not do, or anything else I should bring with me?

The job is for ICT support in a University, very similar to what I'm currently doing (I'm helpdesk + extra in an HE college atm) but at a higher level. All I've been told about the interview is that it will involve a tour of the site (and lunch =P).
