Interview help!

Hi Everybody,

The role I applied for is an Assistant Account position

I had an interview with a company 2 weeks ago, with the HR Manager and the Accounting Manager. Then on the same day (about 2 hours later) I got called back for another interview with the Director of Finance.

The first one was a fairly bog standard interview tbh, nothing out of the usual. The second was very in depth and tough. The Director grilled me for over an hour on a lot of different topics.

Turns out I passed that one as well.

So I got a phone call today saying that me and 1 other person are in contest for the role, and that they want me to come in on Friday next week for a 3rd interview! This will be with 4 different people!

I really do not know what to expect from this interview, the others you can prepare for as they were fairly standard, but this one is pretty unique I feel.

So can anyone offer any help and guidance on what they may ask me and what I can expect from this?

Its probably a combination of interviews you have already done for the 4 new people.

Last job i got i had to do the same interview 3 times for three different groups of people...

Here's a tip, research into the company a bit, it may give you a slight edge if they ask you a serious question and you are able to link it into some form of growth/event in the companies history.

There is an Interview guide on this very forum - I don't have a link but if you haven't read it yet give it a search and read it. Some phenomenal tips in there that have helped me get into my 3rd Interview with Lockheed Martin.

I've researched the company in quite a bit of depth and that came out in the first 2 interviews. I will be doing a lot more for the next one, so any questions they ask I can answer straight away

The 3rd interview could be about you.
Be interesting but don't say you want to save the world.
Also be prepared with lots of questions for them even if things have been answered before.

Right the recruitment agent rang today and I've been told it'll be an in-tray test.
Never heard of that till today!

Anyway been doing a bit of reading but can anyone offer any advice on these tests?
