Interview Suit Query?

Is it an interview faux pas to wear mixed trousers n jacket or should they be matching?

thought so, its a job with the police oop norf in a computer crime unit. Only reason I ask is the matching trousers are a lil tight! (n it aint even xmas yet!)

Yeah, it wouldn't give the most positive first impression you could hope for.

The way I view things like that is like whether to wear a tie or not. It won't harm your chances if you do, but it might if you don't.

I'd err on the side of caution if possible
