So I have an interview tomorrow for a job that I've put a lot of hope on.

It's for a Science technician post, dealing with basic chemistry/nuclear type stuff for a new centre at a college.

I already volunteer there as a Chemistry technician and I know a lot of the people interviewing me.

I have a Skills test, two informal interviews, and if I make it into the afternoon I have a formal interview.

Feels odd as I'll know these people and want to avoid being too familiar with them.

Need to get my outfit and paperwork ready :o

Good luck pal. I've got one next week as well. Gonna get the job, no way am I walking out the door with a rejection.

Thats how I'm feeling right now.

So long as I don't make any **** ups and give the right answers, I should get it over others, mainly down to already working there.

Thanks.

I had an interview for a similar role at a school in October. Apparently I gave a great interview but lacked the experience compared to another candidate. Kind of why I decided to volunteer. I hope it pays off.

Going to prepare a set of possible interview questions and answers.

In a bit of a shocked state right now, but I was offered the job! :)

I think I actually said 'Seriously?'

The competition I was up against was unreal, it goes to show some initiative, volunteering and being calm can go a long way. According to the Section leader it was 'an easy decision'.

Over the moon.
