It's for Gamestation i've noticed they don't really wear to smart gear in there it's just everyday stuff.

Guy on the phone said just dress smart & casual would this mean pub gear? Jeans, nice top and possibly smart trainers?

I'd always wear a shirt and tie and a suit to an interview.

Shows a basic respect even if it's not obligatory.

Never went for a job in a games store though.

i went to a interview once for a trainee web development job!

i turned up in a suit etc and everyone else was dressed casual. jeans and t-shirt. i felt like a right plum, but the first thing they said was it was nice to see someone making an effort ;)

The thing is if you dress in a suit and all the other applicants dress casually then it's a reason for you to stand out in the interviewers mind. Every little advantage counts.

I had an interview not to long ago... I wore a suit.. no one else did.

Guess who got the job? :)

Reebok classics and addidas track pants along with a GTA4 t-shirt ;)

Definately shirt and trousers minimum, but tie if you want to as it's a hot day and no need to go the full hog !

Smart casual (Smart trousers and shirt, no tie) always work for me. Never had an interview where they haven't paid off. Interview is best place to be over dressed

Go in wearing a Tuxido and bow tie,.......would be funny to see lol, oh, not to forget a top hat....show proper dedication to getting a job :)

Had an interview yesterday. Got a phone call today saying I have the job...

I was wearing a blue shirt, black trousers and shoes...

Thats it... Casual Smart f.t.w.

By the same logic, dress as a strawberry, I can tell you for certain that nobody else will be dressed similarly.
